k-ID, in collaboration with the National University of Singapore's Law Faculty (LLM program), is excited to announce our 2025 Legal Internship Program for talented law students passionate about technology, privacy, and youth safety.
About This Collaboration
This exclusive partnership between k-ID and NUS Singapore's LLM program combines industry expertise with academic excellence to provide law students with a unique opportunity to apply their legal research skills in a tech startup environment. The program will give interns insight into alternative career paths for legally trained professionals while helping k-ID identify promising talent for future roles.
Internship Focus Areas:
Regulatory Compliance & Research
Conduct comprehensive legal research on specific legal questions relating to minor safety and privacy
Update the Global Compliance Database with current regulatory requirements
Propose justified changes and amendments to existing compliance documentation
Review approximately 15 jurisdictions over a 3.5-week period
Commercial Advisory Experience
Shadow Commercial Counsel for various legal tasks
Assist with contract reviews and analysis
Learn how to translate legal research into commercially viable advice
Support internal teams with practical legal guidance

Requirements
Currently enrolled in NUS Law's International Business Law (LLM) program
Strong legal research and analytical skills
Interest in technology, privacy law, and digital safety
Excellent written and verbal communication
Commitment to full-time participation for the program duration
Ability to present complex legal information in a concise, business-friendly manner
Program Details
Duration: 4 weeks (May 2-30, 2025), with possibility of extension
Location: In-person at our Singapore office
