Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales EMEA with a proven track record in both large-scale tech environments and startups. This specialized role focuses on direct sales execution within the European, Middle Eastern, and African markets, serving as our primary revenue driver and market representative in the region. You'll be personally responsible for the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals with key accounts across EMEA. The ideal candidate is a self-driven sales professional who excels at direct client engagement and has deep regional expertise, all while being committed to our mission of empowering the next generation online.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct Sales Execution

  • Prospect, qualify, and close sales opportunities with major platforms, gaming companies, and digital services across the EMEA region

  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at target companies

  • Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients

  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing

  • Achieve and exceed individual revenue targets for the EMEA region

Market Development

  • Identify and prioritize target accounts and opportunities within the EMEA region

  • Map regional market opportunities and develop account-specific strategies

  • Provide market intelligence and feedback to inform product development and localization efforts

  • Build awareness for k-ID solutions through direct outreach and relationship building

Sales Process Excellence

  • Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and sales forecasts for your territory

  • Effectively utilize HubSpot to document all customer interactions and sales activities

  • Develop account plans for key prospects and clients in your territory

  • Analyze your sales performance against targets and continuously refine your approach

Customer Engagement & Solution Consulting

  • Deeply understand client challenges around youth safety, privacy compliance, and age-appropriate experiences

  • Articulate the value proposition of k-ID's solutions in the context of specific client needs

  • Guide prospective clients through technical requirements and integration considerations

  • Collaborate with the product team to address client-specific requirements

Regional Representation

  • Represent k-ID at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities across EMEA

  • Build awareness of our mission and solutions through speaking engagements and thought leadership

  • Establish relationships with regional industry associations relevant to youth online safety

  • Stay informed about regional regulatory developments concerning youth privacy and online safety

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in sales with at least 5 years focused on EMEA markets in both large-scale tech environments and startups

  • Proven track record of personally closing deals and consistently meeting/exceeding quota

  • Experience selling privacy, trust & safety, or compliance solutions to digital platforms or gaming companies

  • Self-motivated with exceptional time management and ability to work independently in a remote territory

  • Strong understanding of EMEA business cultures and practices with established network in the region

  • Exceptional ability to navigate complex sales cycles and build relationships at the executive level

  • Passionate about empowering kids and teens online, with a strong alignment to our company mission

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence and build relationships at all levels

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the EMEA region

  • Fluency in English required; additional European languages highly valued

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms for managing sales pipeline and activities

  • Experience selling to gaming companies, digital platforms, or within the trust & safety space

  • Familiarity with API integration concepts to effectively communicate technical requirements

  • Understanding of online privacy, data protection, and age verification technologies

  • Knowledge of gaming industry trends and digital platform operations across diverse EMEA markets

  • Comprehension of key regulations like COPPA, GDPR-K, and other youth privacy laws with particular focus on EMEA-specific regulations
