About you:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Employee Experience Specialist to enhance, build, and maintain a vibrant and engaging workplace at Ready Player Me. Your role will be crucial in ensuring smooth daily operations, organizing exciting events, and managing travel coordination across our offices in Europe and the US. Additionally, you will support our HR and Finance teams as needed.

We trust you to be highly organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter who enjoys working with people. You thrive as the "go-to" person, adapt well to changing priorities, and are passionate about growing in the HR field.

Your daily adventures will include:

  • Enhancing Employee Experience and Daily Operations Management:
    • Plan and execute in-office and virtual events, including summer and winter company events, to foster collaboration and engagement.
    • Oversee office management to ensure smooth daily operations and monitor the need for additional office space globally.
    • Ensure teams have the necessary equipment and tools to perform their duties effectively while managing travel arrangements to ensure cost-effective and efficient travel plans.
    • Oversee all company merchandise and serve as the point of contact for employees regarding office, events, tools, travel, and benefits.
    • Maintain a high level of organization and detail-orientation in all tasks, and adapt to changing priorities and workloads with grace and efficiency in a fast-paced tech environment.
  • Supporting HR and Finance:
    • Assist with the onboarding and offboarding processes, tools, and systems, ensuring smooth integration for new hires and professional handling of departing employees.
    • Collaborate closely with Finance and HR on various ad-hoc tasks to support the company's operational needs.
    • Demonstrate a passion for growing in the HR field; any knowledge of HR operations is an additional advantage.

What you bring:

  • Proficiency in Google Mail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, and solid Excel skills.
  • 2+ years of experience in office management, event planning, operations specialist, or a similar role (more experience is highly valued).
  • Passion for organizing events, managing office operations, and making teams happy.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English, along with strong planning, time management, organizational, and execution skills with high attention to detail.
  • A strong work ethic, characterized by a positive and proactive attitude, driven by a desire to make a significant impact.
  • A sense of humor and a passion for gaming are greatly appreciated.

  • Have worked in a startup or scaleup before.
  • Love to play games.
  • Have experience in HR operations.
